I’m so, so guilty of #1, but in my own defense, I get those ideas in the shower, while I’m driving, etc. and it’s impossible to write them down!

Well put! Great info and a good read. I refer to myself as a “recovering perfectionist” in order to acknowledge and abate these behaviors, but it’s amazing how they can sneak in when I’m not looking! I love the term “nose bleed activities” in #8, but #3 is hands down my favorite! It may be my new mantra!

    Thank you for the tips!

I have been battling procrastination for years! And I just realize that one of the culprits is my rotten perfectionism (I couldn’t start working until everything is “perfect”) Agreeing to do something badly just to start is definitely something I needed to do. I’ve started utilizing the pomodoro technique, has anybody tried it? 🙂

I like it! Nothing sufisticated, it’s simple, it’s doable and it will work. Thanks for sharing.
