Marcy McKenna, Product Innovator and Energetic Entrepreneur behind Simply Solved Innovations. A nerdy inventor at heart, Marcy was born into a family of inventors, but only started commercializing her creations after becoming the winner of Kelly Ripa’s invention reality show, “Homemade Millionaire.” That experience combined with circumstances that forced she and her husband to become a dual income household was the impetus she needed to finally follow her dream. Fast forward eight years, and she’s now successfully developed and launched over twenty products via home shopping channels, ecommerce and in big box retailers nationwide. As a mom of three (four if you count her husband) with a full time career, and a chaotic life, she finds solace and passion in creating products that keep us organized and make life easier. Most recently, she’s been able to combine her passion for organizing with her love for travel to create an entire line of travel accessories that not only make traveling easier, but that also give us that little slice of luxury she believes we all deserve when we’re on the go. “Travel Essentials by Marcy McKenna” debuts this Fall on HSN.
