Amanda Hoffmann – Sensational Entrepreneur, Bookkeeper Extraordinaire
Hi, I’m Amanda Hoffmann and live in Brisbane, Australia. I am passionate about business and social media. I currently juggle being a mother of four school-aged children and run three businesses in completely different fields. While challenging, I believe they keep me thinking outside of the box. I have always loved being busy and I believe it is a mixture of my “can do” attitude and loving life that allows me to accomplish so much. Oh, not liking to sleep much certainly does help!
I started managing my first business over 18 years ago but sold it when I decided to start a family. I was unable to envision at the time how I could run a business and still be a dedicated mother. Since I now run three businesses and have a large family, I have found being organised and prioritising is the secret to success.
What are my businesses you might ask? My Office Books Virtual Bookkeeping, Kidd House Accommodation specializing in fully furnished accommodation for both students and professionals and Co-Founder of a new Social Media start-up called The Likeability Company helping SME’s get the most out of using social media and building communities.
I would like to share my experience in small business and answer any questions you might have regarding office organization, cloud technology and share my experience in property investment.
I personally am fascinated by social media, particularly the fast pace of twitter and exploring the world of blogging. I invite you share my journey and get to know each other.

While she loved being home with her daughter, Bek quickly realized that she missed having that creative outlet. She also wanted a way to continue to contribute to her family’s income. The solution? Me and My 1000 Girlfriends, That’s Who!
Kathy Scott launched Me and My 1000 Girlfriends, That’s Who! in 2011 as a Facebook community of women poised to assist each other when asked to create and distribute emails, phone calls or letters. City council members, senators and governors were recipients of communication including Florida politicians interested in creating controversial 2011 Teacher Merit Pay Legislation, which planned to tie teacher salaries to students’ grades. The move would have hurt some underperforming low income areas where many teachers most wanted to teach, but would be unable to do so with the low pay rate. The legislation was hotly debated with 1000 Girlfriends doing their best to communicate to legislators. The law was later vetoed by Governor Crist.
Scott can be heard every Wednesday evening at 7pm ET at the Women on the Move Blog Talk Radio program. She recently launched her clothing and premium design – Women’s Party of America available on her Website under the Shop tab. Her success mantra is: Failure is not an option.

Kelley Keller is an intellectual property (IP) attorney, author, and legal commentator
Kelley Keller is an intellectual property (IP) attorney, author, and legal commentator on IP matters with 18 years of “real world” experience in the field. She has written numerous articles on the subject, including publications in legal journals on the impact intellectual property has on everyday business. Other contributions to business magazines and various blogs look at the relationship between intellectual property protection and social media use at home and work, copyright in the new digital economy, and the business side of branding.
In addition to practicing law, Kelley speaks about it. She presents at conferences, business events, and in various educational venues, on topics such as intellectual property and its role in business growth and sustainability, molding company culture, and driving employee satisfaction. She is frequently called upon to share her expertise in print, online, and on the air. Her content unpacks and decodes the complexities and importance of intellectual property to everyday business.
Kelley will tell you that it is part of American culture to understand the maxim, or at the least the principle behind it, “If you build a better mousetrap, the world will beat a path to your door.” If you invent something that improves people’s lives (think the personal computer) or simply makes them happier (the remote control) you just might become very rich. If you start a blog, turn it into a book, and then write a screenplay that becomes a blockbuster hit (think Julie and Julia), you just might become very rich. If you build a company with a powerful brand recognized by millions of people (think FACEBOOK®), you just might become very rich. Innovation and creativity are the lifeblood of the American economy. Understanding your rights and responsibilities in the IP world is crucial to getting in on the action.

Kristal Reagan – Tech Expert-Owner SimplifyWebsites
Hey y’all! My name is Kristal and I’m a 100% born-and-raised North Carolinian, currently living in Raleigh. I’m a home-based business owner, wife of 10 years, and stay-at-home Momma to four wonderful children (ages 9, 6, 3 and 8 months.)
Let me make a confession. I’m a tech-geek and a gadget-girl! I LOVE technology and I LOVE teaching others about it. I especially love helping those who are self-proclaimed “technically inept.” It’s my joy to SIMPLIFY technology for them and show them how to use it to make their lives easier.
If you’re like many business women, you’ve spent countless hours and dollars on your website, but you still don’t love it. Or you love the look and it’s “pretty,” but it’s not fully functioning, meaning it’s not collecting new leads, it’s not deepening the relationship with your leads, and/or it’s not converting your leads to $ales.
And maybe you’ve wasted tons of time trying to figure out technology on your own. Or worse, there are times when the thought of technology seems so overwhelming that it stops you in your tracks and it keeps you from moving your business forward.
I’m here to help turn all that around for you! I promise to speak your language, and not use “big techie words”. I love to create step-by-step, how-to videos that teach YOU how to streamline your business and I’m really looking forward to that and being a resource for you!

Melinda works with mildly cluttered to mildly hoarded people all over the country. She’s also teamed with extreme-cleaning crews to safely clear out massive clutter situations. She was named “Best Personal Organizer” by Fort Worth, TX Magazine and her tips have been featured in Shape, Woman’s Day, and WeTV as well as many other local and national publications.

Nicole Longstreath – on a mission to save women from the dysfunctional shopping experience
Nicole Longstreath is on a mission to save women from the dysfunctional shopping experience. She is a virtual wardrobe stylist working with women across the globe to build personal brands that command attention and influence.
Nicole began her journey as a stylist with a unusual “guerrilla shopping” experiment in 2010. For 6 months, she vowed to shop only at local thrift stores. Her theory: building a wardrobe on a micro-budget was totally possible – but only if she was clear on what she was looking for.
At the end of the experiment, she had a new wardrobe (for less than $500) and a new vision of what building a wardrobe should be like – whether it was done in a thrift shop or Bloomingdale’s.
Nicole believes that all women are entitled to their own, unique brand of personal style, regardless of age, size, shape or amount of disposable income. You can find her at her home base, theWardrobeCode.com.

Rachel Rodgers – Intellectual Property Strategy & Legal Counsel for Digital Entrepreneurs
I work with young and women entrepreneurs and small business owners to anticipate and protect the legal needs of your business so that you can accomplish your goals and achieve the lifestyle you hoped for when you started your company.
It’s still a bit of the Wild, Wild West out there on the Internet. And if you’ve ever needed the services of a lawyer, then you know this to be true: traditional law firms don’t “get” online business.
I understand online businesses because I run one myself.
I decided to focus my law practice to serving the needs of businesses that primarily work online when, before I became a lawyer, I experienced firsthand how difficult working with traditional law firms could be. Having to leave work early so I could talk to an attorney, or being talked down to as if I wasn’t smart enough to understand the law or make a decision about the legal aspects of my life, all the while being charged for every minute. Those negatives experiences shaped the kind of services and approach I offer to my clients.
My goal is to make it easy for you to get the legal advice you need to protect and grow your business.
Rebekah L. Pierce – Empowering Women to Live on Purpose
I am Rebekah L. Pierce, and I am here to empower and inspire women to live in their purpose through the arts and advocacy. A former English teacher, playwright, advocate for women and veteran, I have worked extensively to empower and uplift women and families who face monumental issues to their spiritual, physical, emotional and financial well-being. I refer to myself as a socially conscious author and speaker in that much of my work revolves around issues that impact the quality of life of women and their families.
As a military veteran, once a homeless youth, entrepreneur and teacher, I have been witness to the power of storytelling whether it is through the pages of a book, public speaking or on the stage; it can bring about healing. I am a writer – a storyteller. I am an advocate for the often dazzling, blinding reality of truth. On my Facebook fan page for my book, Kryptonite Killed Superwoman, I speak daily to the importance of confronting this truth about who we are and believing in miracles. As women, I believe that we hold the key to modeling living fully in our skin and purpose.
On a side note, I’m also one bad – shut your mouth, I was only talkin’ about Shaft – baker. I can bake a mean Red Velvet cupcake(s), and don’t get me started on my famous chocolate chip cookies.
Ronii Bartles – Marketing & Branding Expert from Bartles & Associates
Ronii is Bartles & Associates’ self-proclaimed Chief Rockstar. She has a whole list of amazing (but slightly boring) credentials like a Bachelor’s Degree from Shepherd University, a MBA from The Citadel, The Lowcountry Business Network Advisory Board Member and is President of the Charleston American Marketing Association, where she was also a 2012 Marketer of the Year Finalist. She loves to go around telling people that she actually is one of the Most Influential Women in Business in Charleston and a 40 Under 40 winner because the Business Journal told her so. Professionally, Ronii grew up in the marketing research industry and has been Director of Operations at ARG and W5. She took all that experience and started Bartles & Associates and roniibartles.com where Ronii and her team work with creative entrepreneurs and small businesses on developing branding and marketing strategies around what they do best, which they lovingly call Operations Marketing. B&A helps businesses uncork their potential by uncovering their WHY and then crafting that message into concise, memorable brand stories and marketing messages. Ronii is an active volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters for over twelve years, and won Big Sister of the Year in 2008. Originally from West Virginia (you can take the girl out of WV but you can’t take the WV out of the girl), she loves beer, college football (Let’s GOOO Mountaineers!), pizza, jeans and a t-shirt, and designer high heels.

Dr. Tania Howard – Health and Wellness Guru
Dr. Tania decided to become a chiropractor at age 15 when she experienced a complete metamorphosis in her health through chiropractic. She completed her undergraduate work at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, and doctorate at Life Chiropractic College in Atlanta, Georgia. She is the founding partner of Broadneck Family Chiropractic, where she has practiced for over 20 years with two amazing partners who make it possible for her to take her message ‘on the road’.
Hollywood called, and she enjoys providing care on movie sets and behind the scenes at live performances. She’s been profiled in Washington Post Magazine and many trade publications, and has done extensive postgraduate work in prenatal and pediatric chiropractic, nutrition, exercise, and family wellness. A chiropractic lifestyle has helped her to stay fit enough to become a triathlete at the age of 40! She lives in Maryland with her three true loves, husband Braden and daughters Francesca and Julia.
The advice and guidance Dr. Tania has given her patients has been written, filmed, and boiled down to be informative, yet entertaining. There is a LOT of good health information available online, but most of it is, excuse us, BORING! Conversely, there are so many entertaining lifestyle bloggers to enjoy, but few, if any, have any healthcare credentials. She fancies herself a “Dr. Oz meets Bethenny Frankel” hybrid, and it’s our intention that Drtania.com will bring good, solid health and wellness advice from an “every girl” perspective, to it’s readers.
