You’re already the creator of your life…
Every single part of it…
The good, the bad and the bits you’d rather forget…
So, why not choose to become a conscious creator and have a conscious say in your reality?
What is conscious creation?
Conscious creation means creating an awareness that your thoughts, feelings, the intentions you set and the vibrations you create all play a role in the life you’re living…
Your current reality is a manifestation of your previous thoughts and feelings…
And these are generated from your deep-seated beliefs…
Most of which, aren’t your own…
They were instilled within you as a child by your parents and the society you were born into with most of them being self-limiting and only serving to hold you back…
Be honest with yourself about what you TRULY believe
Do you ever question your beliefs?
Do you have beliefs that clash with what you feel deep down inside?
It can be difficult if what you feel inside is different to what you were raised to believe, but it’s when you get to the bottom of what YOU truly believe that you can start to consciously create the life you want…
I grew up with my mum saying to me, ‘You can’t say that!’…
I was told I had a ‘Scorpio tongue’ because I’d just speak my mind…
It definitely wasn’t my intention to hurt anyone, but my mum’s belief was that ‘being blunt’ wasn’t the right thing to do…
The last thing I wanted to do was upset my mum or hurt anyone else so I withdrew from speaking up…
It made me believe that it wasn’t ok to be me until recently when a mentor said to me, ‘What if you always say the right thing at the right time?’
Her belief was that it was a divine download and that if I’ve been called to say it, then I must say it…
That changed everything for me…
That new belief completely resonated with what I truly felt and it reaffirmed that it was ok for me to just be me…
Just because my mum had one belief didn’t mean it was what I truly believed…
Her belief only served to hold me back because it wasn’t the belief I have at a deep soul level…
To consciously create the life you want, live your life according to what YOU truly believe.
Be honest with yourself as to what YOU truly want
Just for a moment, don’t think about anyone else…
Don’t consider your parents, your partner or your kids…
Only think about what YOU truly want…
The sheer thought of doing that brings a major wave of discomfort for many women because we’re taught that it’s wrong to put yourself first…
But the truth is that when you make every decision based upon everyone else’s needs before your own, you’ll be forever living your life on everyone else’s terms…
And that creates unhappiness…
When you get to the honest truth about what it is that you want, you create a different energetic wave pattern and set the wheels in motion for the Universe to bring what you want to you…
After all, why should everyone else get what they want but you don’t?
Hardly seems fair…
It’s ok to have your needs met, too…
To consciously create the life you want, you need to be honest about what you want and not constantly putting your needs on the backburner behind everyone else’s…
Take responsibility for everything that’s happening in your life
This can be quite confronting when there’s a resistance to accepting responsibility for certain things…
But when you do accept responsibility, you’re taking back your power to create the life you want instead of creating the things you don’t want…
Taking responsibility for everything – your surroundings, your interaction with others and the events in your life means being in control of your life instead of allowing it to manifest on auto pilot…
Using your encounters to discover the areas within you that need healing is empowering…
Those clients and customers you could really to do without…
They’re only reflecting back to you an area that needs a little love within you…
If someone says something negative…
They’re reflecting back to you how you truly feel inside…
When you use your current reality as a huge mirror and you take responsibility for what it’s reflecting back to you, you will increase your conscious creating powers.
Be guided by your soul
Think about those moments when you’ve been asked to make a decision…
You have that flash of a feeling about what you’d like to do and then your head chimes in with, ‘Yeah, but…’
The voice in your head is your ego and the only information it has to work with are the beliefs you’ve been taught and past experiences…
Its main aim is to keep you safe and playing small…
But the flash of a feeling that you had without even thinking is your soul…
Your soul only knows YOUR truth…
That initial reaction is who you TRULY are…
Say someone asks you to drive them to a doctor’s appointment but it was at the same time you’d set aside to sit down and read a book…
Your initial reaction from your soul is NO, because you were really looking forward to having that time to yourself…
But when your head chimes in, it gives you all the reasons under the sun why you should give up your time to help someone in need…
It brings up everything you’ve been taught to believe about putting everyone else’s needs before your own…
Your time with yourself is just as important…
The fact is that if you say no, that person will find another way…
Being a conscious creator means tuning in, listening to your soul and going with your initial reaction regardless of the reaction of the other person…
If you say no and the other person gets upset, that’s simply because they’re not getting their way…
That is something they need to deal with…
If you’re saying yes to someone else, make sure it’s a hell yes for you, too.
Face your fears!
When it comes to facing your fears, what you decide will change the course of your life…
Back in the mid-nineties, when I first started singing, I went in a talent quest where I had to sing with a band…
I organised music charts. I rehearsed dancers…
And half way through my performance, in front of a packed house, I forgot the words…
My worst nightmare had become a reality!
I had two choices that night…
Crawl under a rock, never to be seen again or learn from the experience…
I chose the latter and came up with a way to remember the lyrics to songs…
I’m now celebrating 25 years in the entertainment industry with a career that has taken me around the world, performing at World Expos, throughout Europe and South East Asia…
Facing your fears will always create a new normal and will forever change your life.
Become a conscious creator and take back the power to create the reality that YOU want.
