Periscope is no doubt, one of the fastest growing social media channels you can get your mug and business on for immediate exposure. Everything from teaching courses to cooking classes can be videotaped in front of a LIVE audience! Unlike YouTube, Periscope videos can only be viewed 24 hours after recording. Periscope is by far a game changer for small businesses. With all they hype and new found popularity it can be easy to get lost and overwhelmed as a newbie. Understanding how things work, sifting through the lingo and trying to get a Periscope following can be a full time job in itself. Valuable resources are available to help with the learning curve. Here are two I suggest connecting with immediately.
Dana Garrison is a fast and rising shining star on Periscope. Dana’s main focus is hosting scope parties, offering scope tips and bringing entrepreneurs together to exchange contact information and more. Dana has been successful at creating a six-figure income for herself as an Entrepreneur, so she also offers business tips as well as coaching sessions. Her scopes include free group coaching and her content is solid with a consistent message. Dana is a valuable resource on Periscope, you can check by linking up on Periscope. In addition, you might also want to hop in her Facebook group, Periscope Love Tribe, for more help with Periscope exposure.
Mark Shaw is the second person I highly recommend hooking up with on Periscope. Mark is one of the early pioneers (like earlier then early) and knows quite a bit of helpful tips for Periscope marketing. Mark’s enthusiasm and energy is quite contagious, so watching a Mark scope a day can really keep the downers away! Mark has created a hash tag called #tagtribes that is the largest support community on Periscope. Every scope Mark puts out offers a new tip, a new perspective and a new shot of energy to his audience. This is one guy you want to connect with immediately!
Periscope lets you explore the world through the eyes of someone else. Workshops, travel scopes, contact exchange sessions and much more can be viewed on a daily basis on Periscope. Go ahead and follow me too, I will follow you back and together we can take this epic journey!
