Meet Charlotte Jackson, Founder of The Curve Authority— a luxury fashion authority redefining plus-size couture and inclusive representation.
A former Actress and Singer, this fashionista has become a respected power player behind the scenes of the luxury fashion world. A regular staple at Paris Fashion Week, she’s a familiar and trusted presence within the tight-knit circles of McQueen, Stella McCartney, and many others. As one who challenges outdated industry standards, Charlotte advocates for inclusive luxury— proving that personal style has no size, tags, or age limitations.
As Founder of The Curve Authority, Charlotte has privately consulted with some of the biggest brands in fashion to help identify what’s missing in today’s market. As many brands face financial strain in a shifting economy, her expertise helps them reach an often overlooked but powerful consumer. Her platform was born from navigating Fashion Week, travel, and entertainment as a woman in curves— while realizing the industry hadn’t fully made room for plus-size women seeking true luxury, not just extended sizing.
Charlotte is also leading conversations around 45+ women— a demographic that, according to Nielsen and AARP, represents the greatest spending power in entertainment and media, totaling trillions. As brands increasingly rely on accessories to stay afloat, Charlotte shows how shifting focus from youth to consumers with capital can be transformative for the fashion industry.
Whether Charlotte is performing, producing, or plating a masterpiece (she’s also an accomplished chef), her journey has always been about more than just entertainment. It’s about impact, expression, and creating space for others to feel seen, inspired, and empowered to walk in their own light.

Charlotte Jackson, Founder of The Curve Authority
“Start where you are, but move with intention about where you’re going. Don’t wait for permission to step into spaces you know you belong in.” – Charlotte Jackson
Wow! That is an amazing introduction! Can you tell us, in your own words, more about your inspiring story?
CJ: I’m Charlotte Jackson, founder of The Curve Authority, a brand created for women of size and women of age to be seen, styled, and fully served within luxury fashion. My journey was shaped by a defining moment in Paris, where I realized that women who looked like me were missing from those spaces, not just in visibility, but in access. We could walk into these luxury houses and purchase accessories, shoes, purses, sunglasses, and scarves, but when it came to clothing, the options simply weren’t there for us.
That experience revealed a deeper gap in how the industry designs, considers, and includes women like me. It shifted my focus toward making sure that what is created and accessible within traditional sample sizing is equally available to curvy and mature women, so no one feels excluded from the full luxury experience. What began as a passion for fashion became a mission to create presence, access, and authority for women who have long been overlooked.
From an actress and singer to a power player in the luxury fashion scene and regular staple at Paris Fashion Week, that’s quite a journey. Tell us more.
CJ: My journey has been rooted in faith, vision, and purpose. I made a decision early on not to wait for permission to enter spaces that weren’t designed with me in mind, but to show up with clarity and confidence.
I’ve been very intentional about how I position myself and the women I represent, ensuring we are not just present but respected and recognized within luxury spaces. Every step I’ve taken has been about building access, strengthening relationships, and creating opportunities that didn’t previously exist.
I’ve learned that when you remain grounded in your purpose and move with focus, the right doors don’t just open; you’re prepared to walk through them.
What made you decide to launch The Curve Authority?
CJ: The Curve Authority was created from a gap I experienced firsthand while navigating luxury fashion spaces. I saw that curvy and mature women were welcomed to engage with the brand through accessories, shoes, and other pieces, but not fully considered when it came to clothing and overall experience. That disconnect made it clear that it wasn’t just about style, it was about access, intention, and inclusion at every level.
I wanted to create something that shifted that reality, where women like me are not an afterthought, but fully prioritized. The Curve Authority is rooted in making sure we are seen, considered, and fully included in the standard of luxury fashion.
What is a typical day like for you when styling someone for an event? What does your approach look like?
CJ: My approach always begins with understanding the woman, who she is, how she wants to feel, and the space she’s stepping into. It’s not just about selecting a look, it’s about making sure she feels seen, confident, and fully aligned with the moment. I’m very intentional about fit, structure, and presence, especially because the options aren’t always readily available for women of size and women of age. I take the time to curate pieces that reflect both her identity and the level of luxury she deserves. By the time she steps out, it’s not just about how she looks, it’s about how she shows up.
How are you working with luxury brands to advocate for inclusivity?
CJ: I work with luxury brands by building genuine relationships and showing up in those spaces with intention and consistency. Through that presence, I’m able to demonstrate that women of size and women of age belong in luxury without compromise. It’s not just about being present; it’s about being seen at the same level of luxury, intention, and excellence. I also use my voice and access to advocate for better sizing, thoughtful design, and a more inclusive approach overall. For me, it’s about shifting the standard, not just participating in it.
If you had one piece of advice for someone just starting out, what would it be?
CJ: Start where you are, but move with intention about where you’re going. Don’t wait for permission to step into spaces you know you belong in. Be consistent, be strategic, and focus on building real relationships. Not everything will happen immediately; growth takes time. When you stay rooted in your purpose, the right opportunities and doors will open.
How do you envision The Curve Authority making a difference in the world of fashion?
CJ: I envision The Curve Authority helping to redefine what luxury fashion looks like and who it is truly for. It’s about shifting the narrative so women of size and women of age are no longer an afterthought, but a standard. Through visibility, access, and intentional presence, we’re creating space where inclusion is not optional; it’s expected.
I also see this extending into a full-service, elevated in-store experience where women can walk into a store or boutique and feel fully considered, supported, and valued while shopping, rather than feeling limited to online options. The goal is to change not just what is offered, but how women experience luxury fashion altogether.
How do you prioritize self-care and well-being while managing the demands of your business?
CJ: I’ve learned that self-care is not optional; it’s necessary. As a wife, a mother, and a business owner, I’m intentional about creating time to rest, reset, and reconnect, both mentally and spiritually. Managing all of those roles requires a great deal of energy, so I prioritize protecting mine. Whether it’s stepping away to recharge or creating space for stillness, I listen to what I need. When I’m well, I’m able to show up fully in every area of my life and business.
What would you consider your biggest accomplishment and why?
CJ: One of my greatest accomplishments is being a wife and a mother. That role has shaped me in ways that go far beyond anything I’ve built professionally, and it’s something I carry with pride and purpose every day. Alongside that, building The Curve Authority into a brand that truly impacts women is incredibly meaningful to me.
It’s not just about fashion, it’s about helping women feel seen, valued, and confident in who they are. Being able to influence how women show up in the world, both personally and professionally, brings me great joy. I stand on my mantra daily, “We See You, We Style You, We Crown You,” and my goal is that every woman who experiences The Curve Authority feels more confident, more valued, and fully seen in who she is.
We all face challenges. Looking back, what have been some of the biggest challenges and obstacles you’ve had to navigate?
CJ: One of the biggest challenges has been navigating spaces that were not originally designed with women of size and women of age in mind. Looking back on my journey in acting and singing, there were moments where costumes didn’t fit, or options simply weren’t available, and at times I felt overlooked because of my size. Those experiences stayed with me and gave me a deeper understanding of the gaps that exist.
I’ve also had to remain confident in my vision, even when it didn’t immediately align with industry standards. Building something different requires both patience and resilience. Those challenges have strengthened me and made me even more committed to creating change.
What initiatives or actions do you believe are crucial for fostering a more supportive and inclusive business environment for women?
CJ: Creating a more supportive and inclusive environment for women starts with intentional action, not just conversation. It’s important to create real opportunities where women are not only included but fully considered in decision-making, leadership, and representation. Access, mentorship, and collaboration all play a major role in that growth. I also believe in building spaces where women feel supported, valued, and able to show up as their full selves. When women are genuinely invested in and empowered, it creates a stronger and more inclusive business environment for everyone.
What advice would you give to a new business owner? Or to your younger self?
CJ: I would tell my younger self to trust the vision and walk in it with confidence. You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin, but you do have to be willing to show up and stay consistent. Be patient with the process, but don’t hesitate when it’s time to make bold decisions. Understand your value early and don’t shrink to fit into spaces that were never designed with you in mind. Stay rooted in your purpose, keep building, and know that what is meant for you will meet you.
Do you have a favorite quote or motto that inspires you?
CJ: Yes, “We See You, We Style You, We Crown You.” It’s more than a mantra; it’s the foundation of The Curve Authority and the standard I carry into every space I enter. At the core of it is being seen, truly seen, and not overlooked or minimized. It represents visibility, intention, and the level of care every woman deserves.
For me, it’s a reminder that women should not only be included, but fully recognized, valued, and celebrated without compromise. That is the energy, the expectation, and the responsibility behind everything I do.
Lastly, what’s next for The Curve Authority, and how can our readers keep up with everything you’re doing?
CJ: What’s next for The Curve Authority is continued growth, expansion, and deeper impact within luxury fashion. I’m focused on creating more opportunities for visibility, strengthening relationships, and building experiences that reflect the level of care and consideration women deserve.
This includes expanding into more curated and elevated experiences that truly shift how women of size and women of age engage with fashion and how they are represented within it. I’m also excited about creating new platforms and opportunities that allow women to be seen, involved, and represented in even greater ways. This is only the beginning of what The Curve Authority is becoming. You can stay connected through social media and upcoming platforms as we continue to grow and evolve.
